TarFest
For four days and nights in the fall, the annual TarFest transforms the historic Miracle Mile corridor into a community open house. The California African American Museum presents
”Accessing the Music Industry”
CAAM hosts the final event celebrating the landmark exhibition, “Wattstax: I Am Somebody!” Music professionals, producer and songwriter James “Big Jim” Wright; Stax/Concord Music Group Catalog Manager, Jeffrey Spector; Music Marketing Professor and Founder of Moondo Records, Juan Carlos Quintero; and producer and journalist, Alfredo Cruz as moderator, discuss current trends in the industry.
