Dia De Los Muertos
Hollywood Forever Cemetery opens its gates to a Mexican Day of the Dead-style party! Those who partake in Mexican culture are already familiar with the "Day of the Dead." For the eighth year running, the Hollywood Forever Cemetery opens its gates to allow the living and curious to visit its grounds in order to feel a connection with those who have passed in honor of Dia de Los Muertos. Because of its location, celebrants can come to connect with Tinsel Town's stars of yesteryear, the dearly departed that you may not have known, but you knew their work. This event features music, traditional Mexican food and theatrical performances.

LA Photographer KyLA makes a splash at Melrose Lightspace gallery! There's free food, cash bar, DJs, and FatBeats stays open next door, so this could go all night and around the block! Black N Bling is a party celebrating the debut of LA photographer kyLA. Known for shooting the Los Angeles subculture and hip hop party scene, kyLA is showin the goods for the very first time at Melrose Lightspace in Hollywood. The spot is right next to Fat Beats. Festival de la Gente 2007 Día de los Muertos
The nation’s largest Día de los Muertos celebration will feature Hispanic artists and entertainers on the streets of Los Angeles. The event will feature live music, art exhibits, theatre, storytelling, arts and crafts demonstrations, and traditional Latin American cuisine. Special areas of the event will be dedicated to health and education, with interactive activities for children and their families.

Boo at the Zoo
