LINOCUT WORKSHOP: PRINTMAKING AS A TOOL FOR SOCIAL CHANGE The art of the Black Panther Party was amazing from bold graphics, slogans, newspapers, pamphlets, posters, buttons and bumper stickers. This workshop aimed at the general public, youth (15+) and community organizers is lead by artist Favianna Rodriguez. She's teaching the traditional printing technique of the linocut and show participants how to make their own posters. Her latest book, Reproduce and Revolt about creating political prints, will be available for purchase and signing.

Their RoadTrip Nation is launching the “Work and Holiday Visa“ program, providing American students the chance to live and work in Australia for 12 months. RoadTrip Nation is a grassroots student movement with its own PBS series, which encourages youths to hit the road to discover their calling in life. A journey to Australia is promoted as the ultimate 'gap year' for American students to work, live, study and vacation.
