SATURDAY, April 26

“Unnatural Selection” Exhibit
Visit phenomenal thespian CCH Pounder’s Pounder Kone Artspace in the glorious Atwater Village for this very exploratory exhibit opening. It focuses on the traders who braved the harsh landscapes which connect the East to the West seeking the dreams they believed silk could offer. Though the secret of creating silk was the intellectual property of only a few, many others pinned their hopes upon this sensuous fabric. This show is an exploration of such expectations and ideals, and imagines the extent we are willing to go to in order to achieve them.
