"Standard Operating Procedure" Screening & Conversation with Director Errol Morris
Director Errol Morris of the Academy Award-winning "Fog of War" discusses photos featured in his new documentary "Standard Operating Procedure" which opens on April 25th. It shows the abuses at Abu Ghraib prison and how a few soldiers were scapegoated as examples of the American government’s policy on torture.

Join in a reflection of the natural world through mythology, spirit, and memory with sipping on some Merlot. In a time of growing global awareness, we are now often reminded that humanity affects this biosphere we call home. It serves us all to take time to contemplate our own footprint that we leave behind on planet earth. They are also partnering with the organization A Million Trees and giving away 1 gallon, 5 gallon and 10 gallon trees for attendees to take home one or more trees to plant in your garden or give as gifts.

LA Curry Festival & Thai New Year Day’s Songkran Festival
This is the largest Curry Festival statewide featuring dishes and desserts for everyone’s palate. There’s even a Curry King Contest, Cooking Demo and Raffle Drawing. Help the environment and leave the car at home and take the Metro Red Line to the Hollywood and Western stop. You can also get free parking at Kaiser Permanente and take a free shuttle to the event.
