DOWNTOWN ART WALK
This self-guided tour features many art galleries, museums, and non-profit arts venues. Get your free drink on at the Bert Green Fine Art and M.J. Higgins, and possibly a live rock show at the Regent Theater in coordination with the exhibit.

MOON FESTIVAL
In coordination with the 70th anniversary of New Chinatown, the Southland's oldest Moon celebration features the Miss L.A. Chinatown Queen, the Shaolin Warriors of Chinatown, magician Minh Tran and kids storytelling. There will even be moon cakes demonstrations by the oldest bakery in Chinatown, the Phoenix Bakery, who will be mixing red bean, egg yolks & lotus seeds, and offering complimentary samples. The thirty-minute doc "Chinatown Remembered" will also be screened alongside telescopes (courtesy of The Griffith Observatory), showing how to see the best views of the moon.
